Sako and Dicko, who are expected to shake off respective groin problem and a dead leg for tomorrow's trip to Leeds, are set to be selected for the tournament in Morocco from January 17 to February 8.

Mali need to maintain their current second place in Group B to qualify.

With the Ebola death toll in West Africa now at nearly 4,500, the hosts have called for the Cup of Nations to be postponed. But head coach Jackett is happy his players won't be exposed to any risk of the disease.

He said: "They could be away for a maximum of a month but it's a great opportunity for them.

"Our doctors and medical department are very aware of that (Ebola). There won't be any risk taken on the health of the players, who are happy to travel.

"I'm sure there will be an assessment by the players first off – whether it's right to go and what the risks are.

"I have a lot of confidence in our medical people – they're very good."
