Kenny Jackett: Search goes on for new Wolves signings
Boss Kenny Jackett today reassured fans he is looking for new signings to bolster his Wolves side.
Ryan Halls winner when he deflected in Dave Edwards clearance stunned Wolves after they had been the dominant force for much of the game.
Wolves saw a move for Leicester forward Chris Wood, who scored the equaliser in their Premier League opener against Everton, fall through last week.
But Jackett said: We are always trying to improve the team if we can.
It is very easy to collect players in the Championship, for us to improve our side we need quality players.
Thats the key for us now going forward, that it is the right people added to what is a good group.
We have a good side, and things we need to work on and improve on, but it will be interesting how the season develops with these players.
Jackett insisted they will learn the lessons from defeat at the New York Stadium ahead of Wednesdays Championship trip to Fulham.
We dont want to lose games and we dont accept that, he said.
But after that, we have to realise where we need to improve and what we need to do.
From where we are, which is looking a reasonable side in this division in the first two games, we have to recognise what we need to go one step further.
In both the games (Rotherham and Norwich) we have looked a decent side.
Were frustrated with the result and were not happy about it.
But we have a lot to build on and a lot to be optimistic about this season.
There was a degree of bad luck but we have still lost 1-0 to a set-piece after we had good control of the game which we didnt capitalise on.
We were wasteful when we got into good situations and small details and fine margins win and lose you games. We didnt get those right.
