Michael Jacobs: Wolves hungry for promotion
Michael Jacobs today warned the rest of the Championship – Wolves are hungry for promotion glory.
The star winger cannot wait for the Championship campaign to come around in the belief that the League One champions are packed with players determined to prove themselves at the higher level.
"I think it's a massive positive for us," said Jacobs.
"You look at us and a lot of the players are so hungry to do well and they want to keep improving.
"Even the older lads who have been there and done it, they still want to improve so I think it will be a good season ahead of us and one to look forward to for everyone.
"We want to kick on again – you look at the size of the club, the atmosphere around the place at the moment which is bouncing and the football and the performances that we produced, then we want to carry it all on. It's going to be tougher, the games come thick and fast and you play against a lot of strong teams, but we've got enough to put a challenge up.
"I think we can really kick on. There are a lot of strong teams in the Championship – there won't be a week where you can think you're going to get an easy three points."
