O'Hara is still out in the cold at Wolves

Wolves outcast Jamie O'Hara was today told someone needs to take a gamble on him to revive his career after failing to attract a single phone call in the January transfer window.

The club has 11 players out on loan, but head coach Kenny Jackett admitted one-time £5m signing O'Hara needs someone to believe in him again after no-one enquired about him last month.

"It's been very quiet. We haven't had any approaches or any interest in him before the deadline at all," said Jackett.

"There haven't been any situations and that does surprise me because if you look at his performances for the Under-21s, he's played well in the development games.

"He's basically played every week."

Jackett briefly reinstated the former Tottenham midfielder to his squad and O'Hara made two substitute appearances in November against Stevenage and Carlisle but hasn't been anywhere near the squad since.

"He's looking for a break – somebody to take a chance on him – which will happen eventually," said the boss.

"Then it's his job to make sure he's fit and prepared and plays well in the games he plays every week for us."
