Wolves set for talks over James Henry loan deal
Wolves were today in talks to sign Millwall winger James Henry as boss Kenny Jackett looks to beef up his wide right options.
The 24-year-old was at Compton for a medical as head coach Jackett looked to seal a loan move with a view to a permanent switch.
Henry, who is in the last year of his contract, has been made available for transfer at the New Den.
A predominantly wide right player, Henry is described as a tricky winger capable of delivering telling set-pieces.
Henry is well known to Jackett, having been signed by him twice on loan in 2009 before snapping him up on a permanent deal from Reading in 2010. He finished last season with six goals and was runner-up as Millwall's Player of the Year.
But this season, Jackett's successor Steve Lomas has opted to use a more gritty midfield and replaced Henry with Martyn Woolford, who is now playing on the left, while central midfielder Richard Chaplow is playing a narrower role on the right.
