Wolves today vowed to go for Huddersfield's throats and sever one of their relegation rivals' life-lines in the crunch Championship showdown at Molineux.

Dean Saunders' side host the Terriers desperately seeking a return to winning ways to get their survival bid back on track, after last week's setback at Bolton.

Captain Karl Henry, who is expected to return to the side for injured David Davis, insisted Wolves will take the game to Huddersfield.

Henry said: "We have really gone for it in recent weeks and we have been positive.

"We have got to carry on from where we left off in our last home game and just go for their throats.

"It's a big advantage to be at home. I think we will start well and we will win."

Saunders declared his Wolves team will adopt a positive approach.

He said: "Without giving the game away too much, we will make sure we have the same positive attitude as the last two home matches.

"We've scored three against Middlesbrough and at Birmingham and we've gone for it.

"I looked at the prospect of drawing games and draws aren't good enough – we are better off winning a couple then losing one.

"We went all-out attack at home against Bristol City and Middlesbrough, and we attacked at Millwall and Birmingham.

"So you can see why teams are having chances against us on the break.

"But we have got the points playing this way."

Saunders added: "Both full backs and the two wide players are joining in and are attack-minded.

"Bjorn Sigurdarson and Stephen Hunt are getting into the box and scoring and Jamie O'Hara is an attacking player who's been getting in the opposition's box.

"And the two forwards are out-and-out strikers.

"We have tried to win games and it's worked.

"We have overpowered the last couple of teams here and with the crowd behind us like they were, they made a massive difference."

With three of the next four games at home, Henry believes Wolves will seal their fate at Molineux.

He said: "Our home form hasn't been great for 18 months but in the last few games maybe we have turned a corner."

Meanwhile, Saunders has missed out on the Championship Manager of the Month award to Nottingham Forest's Billy Davies.

Forest won four and drew one of their five fixtures in March. Saunders won three and drew one.

Peterborough's Darren Ferguson won three – including beating leaders Cardiff - and drew three.
