Stale Solbakken is urging Wolves to keep faith
Stale Solbakken has urged his players to have faith in the team's changing style as Wolves get to grips with the Championship.
Solbakken believes the squad has already made more progress than he anticipated after the recruitment-rush which followed the summer sales of Steven Fletcher and Matt Jarvis.
But back-to-back home draws have seen Wolves miss a golden chance to press home the manager's verdict in front of their Molineux audience, and they head for Burnley on Saturday looking to get back on track.
"It's a long season and people will ask you questions; if you try to answer every one at once, you may come unstuck," said Solbakken.
"Before the international break we were very poor; we had four points from four games and we didn't deserve anything more.
"Since then, we've played nine more games and picked up 18 points from eight matches."
Solbakken wants fans not to forget his regime's difficult start as players were hurried in after Premier League clubs had finished cherry-picking from a team which had won only five games all season.
"With five days left of the window, I wasn't sure it was going to be a very good season," he said.
