Karl Henry: Wolves need to stick together

Captain Karl Henry today admitted Wolves' established players need to up their game to integrate with Stale Solbakken's foreign legion.

Solbakken's appointment as manager has signalled a new era at the club, with seven players departed, another seven arrived – all of different nationalities – and the sacking of long-serving coach Terry Connor.

Midfielder Henry believes the new-look squad can weld together provided they're all prepared to do more to pull in the same direction.

"It's a change and maybe some of us need to adapt and help integrate the new lads into our dressing room and our culture," he said.

"We just have to work harder and make sure they're all having a good time here and enjoying themselves on the pitch.

"Maybe it's a more difficult task but it's one we'll do.

"It takes a few weeks for everyone to settle but the new lads can speak enough English. They're all good lads as well.

"We've always had a good set of lads and a good team spirit and bringing in foreign players certainly doesn't mean you lose that.

"There's a good atmosphere even though we've had a bit of an 'iffy' start."
