Terry Connor today admitted for the first time that poor results could cost him the top job at Wolves.
The 49-year-old has support in both the boardroom and dressing room and his fate will be decided after the final game of the season at Wigan on May 13.
But his return of just three points from a possible 33 mean Wolves face a fans' backlash if he is handed the reins permanently.
Connor said: "Results count against me because we haven't survived in the Premier League. My record is out there and I have to stand and fall by that."
