Wolves winger Matt Jarvis was today backed to use his sizzling form as a launchpad to return to England contention for Euro 2012 by manager Terry Connor.
Player of the Year Jarvis has returned to his best in recent weeks, picking up a string of man of the match nominations and scoring at Newcastle and Norwich.
And Connor believes that, on current form, the 25-year-old flier can add to the solitary England cap he won a year ago this week against Ghana.
Connor said: "The only way he's going to do that is by keep playing well for Wolves and he's doing that.
"He's one player who has managed to keep his form and keep his threat going.
"That's to his credit and whether he can get in is up to other people.
"He's got every chance – he's continued to be a threat down that left hand side and he scored at Newcastle and at Norwich.
"He's doing everything he can for Wolves and, if that influences his prospects of international football, everyone will benefit."
Meanwhile, the Wolves boss revealed captain Roger Johnson has improved his attitude and his training.
Connor said: "He's trained more like I expect Roger Johnson to train."
