Wolves duo ruled out of Norwich game

Wolves will again be without Jamie O'Hara and Dave Edwards for tomorrow's clash against Norwich – but Kevin Foley is set to make his comeback this week.

The midfield pair missed Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Stoke, O'Hara with a calf injury and Edwards with a groin problem.

Boss Mick McCarthy today ruled both out of tomorrow's visit of the Canaries."Both are unavailable," said McCarthy. "They're not ready."

Foley, who has recovered from an ankle operation, is set to return in a practice game on Wednesday, alongwith Jody Craddock (hamstring).

Frustrated McCarthy today claimed Wolves' luck can't get any worse. His side suffered from two controversial decisions at the weekend.

Referee Anthony Taylor failed to send off the already-booked Jonathan Woodgate after he tripped Matt Jarvis for the penalty.

Then he awarded a free-kick which led directly to Kevin Doyle's own-goal equaliser from Robert Huth's shot when Roger Johnson appeared to win the ball cleanly.

Wolves were denied a penalty and a goal in the 2-1 defeat against Newcastle earlier in the season and McCarthy believes little has gone his team's way.

"When Lady Luck does that, how do you change it?" said the Wolves boss this afternoon. "Well, that might be the bottom for us.

"We can't do any more. We conceded from a wicked deflection and I thought 'it can't get any worse than that'. We can't do any more."

McCarthy had asked the Manchester-based referee for an explanation afterwards but refused to reveal what was said. "I put over my opinion very calmly," he said.
