As the first gold seats start going up to form the new-look North Bank, a bigger and better stadium is preparing to emerge.

Around a third of the terracing has been installed on the lower-tier of the two-tier, 7,700 seater first phase of Wolves owner Steve Morgan's £40million masterplan for Molineux.

The replacement of the Stan Cullis stand is the £16million first phase to redevelop at least three sides of the historic football ground.

The stand will be finished in July next year boosting capacity from 29,408 to 31,700.

The £24million development of the Steve Bull and Jack Harris stands, increasing capacity to around 37,000, could follow with work on the Steve Bull starting as soon as next summer.

A further redevelopment of the Billy Wright Stand could follow – creating a stadium with a capacity of 50,000.
