Wolves star Matt Jarvis today revealed he had received the England seal of approval from captain John Terry as the winger declared: "Everything is coming together."

Re-appointed Three Lions skipper Terry took Jarvis aside to say his first international call-up was well earned for Saturday's Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales and the friendly with Ghana.

Terry has previously said how impressed he was with Wolves when they beat his Double winners Chelsea in January.

"When I first arrived and met him, he was very nice and welcomed me to the squad and said 'well done, you deserve it'," said Jarvis.

The Molineux flyer has also been welcomed by Capello, who watched him on five occasions before picking him.

"When I arrived he said 'how are you doing? Congratulations'," said Jarvis.

Now Jarvis is eager to repay the faith of Terry and Capello, either at the Millennium Stadium or Wembley three days later.

"I'll be ecstatic if I can get on the pitch in either game and get a cap, it will be fantastic," said the former Gillingham wideman.

"Everything is coming together at the right time," added the 24-year-old.

"I wanted to improve my goals tally and hopefully I'm starting to do well and we've been playing well."

Should he make his England debut, Jarvis is also ready to 'trump' his favourite footballing possession.

"My most prized possession is the shirt and medal from winning the Championship with Wolves," he said. "I've got them framed but if I get on for England I'll definitely get my shirt framed. That would become No 1."
