Shrewsbury Town's Abo Eisa out for a month with knee ligament damage
Shrewsbury winger Abo Eisa will spend a month on the sidelines with knee ligament damage – wrecking any chance of a loan move ahead of next week's deadline.
The 22-year-old flier has not been part of boss John Askey's plans with Town this season and the club were keen to send him on loan to League Two suitors.
But the former Wealdstone man picked up the knock in training yesterday after blocking a shot and will now recuperate under the watchful eye of physio Jordan Beech.
Fans had hoped to see Eisa blossom in his first full season at Montgomery Waters Meadow but his place in a starting line-up has been blocked by the in-form Shaun Whalley and Alex Gilliead.
