Bristol Rovers bringing heavy away following to Shrewsbury
Bristol Rovers will be bringing heavy support to Saturday League One clash at Greenhous Meadow after selling out Town's 1,500 away capacity.
The Gas are on a high this term after sealing promotion from League Two last year, Darrell Clarke's side sit ninth after an impressive start.
And Greenhous Meadow's South Stand promises to be full on Saturday as the clubs meet for the first time since February 2012.
Rovers beat Salop 3-1 in a League Two play-off final at Wembley in 2007.
The away support is likely to push Greenhous Meadow's attendance towards their highest of the campaign, which currently stands at 5,491 - when Sheffield United enjoyed a 3-0 win on Tuesday, October 18.
The match is fondly known as 'The Weetabix Derby' by Rovers supporters, who mark their visit to Shropshire by bringing along stacks of the breakfast cereal.
The tale goes that visiting supporters, who had enjoyed a drink the night before the two sides met at the old Gay Meadow, descended on a local supermarket to find an edible cure - and ended up with huge quantities of the cereal, which is then tossed around the stand.
