Mohamed el Ouariachi Choulay and George Waring have both linked up with Mellon from Stoke City on a loan deal until just after Christmas.

The former, known more simply as 'Moha', is a 20-year-old pacy winger who was part of the La Masia academy at Barcelona for five years before signing with Mark Hughes' Stoke last summer.

The move is his first loan deal away from The Bet365 Stadium, with Salop beating a number of interested parties to seal the deal.

Moha represented Spain at youth team level and has also received a call-up to the Morocco under-23 squad.

Twenty-one-year-old forward Waring is a six ft 5 in target man who grew up at Everton's academy before signing with Stoke.

The mobile striker has also had loan spells in League One with Barnsley two years ago and League Two outfit Oxford United last season for a month.

Both are highly respected at the Stoke academy and the Town boss was delighted to add to his frontline with the duo.

Mellon revealed that Moha's 'breathtaking' talent is doubtless to get Greenhous Meadow fans off their seats in excitement

"As everybody knows we've been trying to get (them) for a couple of weeks now and we're just grateful that it's finally over the line," said Mellon.

"Moha is an ex-Barcelona player and if you Youtube him you will see how excited we are to have him here with the talent that he has. Stoke, again, value him very highly and we're delighted that we could get the two of them on loan now till after Christmas time.

"It's two different additions to the group and will give us two different options within the squad for the first team.

"He's a real talent, he's an old fashioned winger that likes to dribble and is very technical as you would expect. It's his first loan out of Stoke but he's certainly a lad with some incredible, breathtaking talent and we just need to get that talent out of him now in a structure on the field.

"George has played Football League football being out on loan, he's a six ft 5 in striker and gives us a real physical presence up there but he's also very mobile.

"The lad is really determined to come here and do well. He's highly rated at Stoke and we're really pleased to get him here."
