Salop face the trip to the Black Cats on the week commencing August 22.

Boss Micky Mellon's impressive record with domestic cups continued on Tuesday night with a 2-1 victory against much-fancied Championship outfit Huddersfield Town.

Moyes took over from Sam Allardyce earlier in the summer after the Dudley born boss took the job of England manager.

The former Everton chief is a former Salop hero and turned out for the club for three years between 1987 and 1990, also captaining the side.

The clash is not Salop's only trip to the north-east this season, with a EFL Trophy visit to fellow Premier League outfit Middlesbrough pencilled in on the week commencing November 7.
