Town are poised to give their youngsters a run out although manager Micky Mellon has not completely ruled out the involvement of some first team players in the clash at Greenhous Meadow as he insisted the club are determined to win the competition.

He said: "We are playing a group of players that we have available for a game at that time.

"We will be going into the tournament to try to win it, that 's for sure. It will give some players an opportunity to gain some experience and play some first team football.

"We want to go through that's for sure."

Asked if he will mix in one or two of the club's professionals, he added: "We will see who is available because the games are coming thick and fast now.

"We will put out the strongest side that we believe we have available and balance that with giving some of the younger lads some well-needed experience. We will be using it for the right reasons."

The winners of the game will then play AFC Telford United who beat Market Drayton in their semi-final in September.

Admission prices for the match are £5 adults and £3 concessions.
