Alport retain Ethelston Cup
Dylan Bath picked the perfect moment to score his first goal for Whitchurch Alport as the Ethelston Cup holders retained their trophy.

Bath fired home with his right foot in the 54th minute to see off FC Oswestry Town at Yockings Park and secure Alport their silverware.
The competition, consisting of sides from the north of the county, is held annually and has run since the 1908/09 season in memory of war hero Commander Alfred Peel Ethelston, who was from Whitchurch.
