The Bucks have made a raft of new additions to their ranks for their upcoming National League North season.

Royle, 23, who has been at Telford for almost two years, said: “There are a few experienced players who have come in and achieved good things in their career at this level.

“Hopefully some of the younger lads can learn off them.”

Telford wrapped up their pre-season with a 1-0 win at Aberystwyth Town on Friday and now are looking ahead to the first game of the season at home against Southport this Saturday.

And Royle says the squad have enjoyed a good pre-season going into the new campaign.

He said: “It is going really well. After finishing our final game we’re now looking ahead to the game on Saturday.

“Everyone knows their role in the team and everyone is hungry to do well.

“Obviously I am looking to do as well as I can, like every season that I have been here.

“But the team is more important than me. We want to finish as high as possible.

“We want to be pushing for the top end of the table towards those play-off places.”

He added: “We want to do well for the fans and now we are looking to push on for the new season.”
