Bernard McNally: Big crowd can really boost AFC Telford
It would be great to see the New Bucks Head full of fans for tonight’s game with Spennymoor – if it beats the weather.
Rob Edwards will hope his players are roared on by a boosted crowd due to ticket offers, with under-19s going free.
If you do get a big crowd and can coax the youngsters to come in and they bring one or two of their parents then they can become Telford’s 12th man at a time when they really need it.
At this moment in time the third-bottom Bucks need that support to get that bit extra confidence.
Hopefully it can be that occasion this evening.
Certain things have to be put aside at times, I feel. Some Telford supporters might not agree to how the club is run but they can try to help keep the team in this league and then see if they can get things sorted after that while moving forward.
If I was manager I’d be thinking about the close season and how things can be sorted further.
