Video: Boss thinks AFC Telford are not far off
Manager Steve Kittrick believes AFC Telford United took a step in the right direction with tonight's 0-0 home draw against Curzon.
Despite enjoying by far the best of the game in their National League North home opener, the Bucks were unable to find a way past the stubborn visitors.
But the manager was pleased with the performance, if not the result, coming as it did off the back of Saturday's 3-0 season opening defeat at Lowestoft.

He said: "I think it has got to be a step in the right direction, we have got a point.
"People are getting to know each other and it is difficult, you have not got them every day, you have them only three or four times a week.
"We just need to get that win under our belt, whether it be on Saturday or next Tuesday. It will come, we will play the right way."
Telford will assess the fitness of striker Dave Hibbert, after his home debut lasted less than six minutes as he went off with a groin injury.
His replacement, 18-year-old Shrewsbury loanee Kaiman Anderson, missed two great chances to win it for the Bucks.
Curzon rarely threatened, but home goalkeeper James Montgomery did pull off two smart saves from visiting striker Gary Burnett.
Kittrick added: "I said at the beginning of the week all three games we have got would be different.
"Curzon are a good footballing side and we needed to be organised and play a little bit different.
"I'm pleased tonight. Kaiman knows that he should have scored. We had a couple of chances in the first-half, but it will come.
"People have not got to get impatient with them. They are young lads. Kaiman is 18 years old. I admire him.
"He and (Alex) Fletcher are 18-year-old lads and I admire them, they have come and looked comfortable in National League North.
"Once the young lads get a goal they will get more. It's disappointing because, we have had a lot of possession but we have got to be patient."
