AFC Telford's Liam Watson unfazed by long trip
AFC Telford boss Liam Watson remains unfazed by his side's fixtures in the Skrill Premier despite a long trip to Welling on the opening day, August 9.
The newly-promoted Bucks, who won the Skrill North last season, will also clock up big mileage with early trips to Dartford on August 30 and Gateshead on September 9.
But Watson said: "At the beginning of the season it is a bit of a lottery, especially the first day. But fixtures are fixtures. You look at them and sometimes they look really good and end up not being, and other times they look really tough and end up being great.
"I am pleased we are getting some of the longer trips out of the way early."
Telford also have a testing trip to former League Two side Bristol Rovers on August 23. Their first home game will be Macclesfield Town on August 12.
