AFC Telford agree fee with Hereford for Chris Sharp
AFC Telford United today agreed a fee with non-league rivals Hereford United for striker Chris Sharp and placed defender Chris Blackburn on the transfer list.
The Bucks want an undisclosed amount for Sharp, who joined the Bucks in August 2011 from Welsh outfit the New Saints.
The player is likely to complete his move to Edgar Street in time for their New Year's Day fixture at Kidderminster Harriers.
Bucks chairman Lee Carter said today: "We received an approach from Hereford and, once it was established that the player wished to move on, it was important to get the deal done."
Blackburn joined Telford in January but has seen his appearances this season severely limited by a back injury.
The 30-year-old has since recovered though and spent a month on loan at Chorley in a bid to boost his fitness.
