Boss Andy Sinton has fired AFC Telford United up for their first ever trip to Luton Town tonight, insisting: "It's not a Mission Impossible."
Luton are widely perceived as the biggest club in non-League football, and the pre-season favourites for the Blue Square Bet Premier title have already won 2-0 at the New Bucks Head this term.
Telford go into the game on the back of a morale-boosting 1-0 victory over Barrow on Saturday, a result that ended a run of eight league games without a win.
"I don't think anyone in the league or anyone in the country will give us a hope in hell of winning the game tonight, so maybe we can just go and play," said Sinton.
"But that doesn't mean we will just go and waste the game because it would be a massive three points.
"We went up to York and won and we went to Mansfield when they were four minutes from going top of the league and held them.
Cows
"We have been to Kidderminster and Fleetwood and got points.
"Let's not kid ourselves, it's going to be a massive ask but if someone tells me it's impossible I'll argue until the cows come home."
Sinton has also urged the travelling fans to enjoy their night at Kenilworth Road, pointing out how far the club has come since winning promotion.
"It's what the Conference is all about," he added. "Going to play Luton on their own pitch with six or 7,000 fans there will be fantastic.
"Last season we were going somewhere on a cold winter night and playing in front of 200 – I know where I would rather be taking my team."
Sinton is forced to make at least one team change tonight, with striker Chris Sharp starting a three-game ban after being sent off for retaliation in Saturday's 1-0 win over Barrow.
