Boss Andy Sinton is closing in on at least one loan signing as he looks to give AFC Telford United a much-needed boost.
The Bucks chief is keen to have a new face in the ranks in time for Saturday's Blue Square Bet Premier clash at home to Mansfield.
And he revealed that developments were imminent as he bids to make changes after Saturday's humiliating 4-0 FA Cup defeat at Chelmsford.
"I'm quite close on a couple of signings and something might break very soon," said Sinton.
"I've been doing a lot of ringing around and meeting managers, I couldn't be working any harder.
"Hopefully it will pay off and we will be able to get someone in."
Meanwhile, Telford defenders Sean Newton and Shane Killock both appeared for the England C team as they lost 3-1 in a friendly in Gibraltar last night.
Newton was harshly adjudged to have handballed to concede the penalty which led to the hosts' second goal.
England's late consolation came courtesy of Stalybridge Celtic's Connor Jennings.
