Will Salmon relishing AFC Telford v Ebbsfleet

AFC Telford United defender Will Salmon is relishing a home showdown with former club Ebbsfleet United on Saturday – and believes his year in Kent made him a better player.

Basingstoke-based Salmon spent the 2009-10 season at Ebbsfleet, making 27 starts as they were relegated from the Blue Square Bet Premier.

The 24-year-old joined Telford last summer and helped them to promotion through the Blue Square Bet North play-offs, while his former club bounced straight back via the same route in the South.

"It was one of the first games I looked for when the fixtures came out," admitted Salmon.
