Boss Andy Sinton is stepping up his efforts to loan out some his large AFC Telford United squad – having had no enquiries so far.

Sinton sent out a general circular to clubs last week alerting managers to the fact that he would be willing to let a number of his players get games elsewhere.

But having been disappointed with the response, he is now planning a second bulletin – this time detailing exactly who is available.

"The circular we sent out last week just said that we had two or three players that we might consider letting go out and asking managers to call me," said Sinton.

"I had one call from a club in the Blue Square Bet North, but they were asking for players in a position where we had no-one available.

"I'm now looking at sending out another circular with some names on it – we're in no hurry but we could do with getting a few players some games."

Meanwhile, Sinton has admitted holding talks with Redditch joint manager Graham Hyde – a former team-mate from Sheffield Wednesday.

But he played down reports suggesting a formal link-up between the two clubs.

"I don't think we would be looking to send too many of our first team squad to Redditch because of the level they play at (the Evo-Stik Southern League premier division)," he said.

But if we get any trialists coming in that we deem not good enough for us, we will look to pass them on to Redditch.

"We took a centre-half on loan last week and we sent him there, hopefully he will get a few games and we'll be able to keep an eye on him.

"I know Graham Hyde well and he's a good lad," Sinton added. "If we can help each other then we will."
