Early goals in both halves condemned AFC Telford United to defeat against a Luton Town side who remain favourites for the Blue Square Bet Premier title.

Luton went ahead inside eight minutes, Amari Morgan-Smith capitalising on a spell of pinball in the Telford box to turn the ball in from close range.

The Bucks came into the game after that and had some joy down the right flank but were unable to test Hatters keeper Mark Tyler during what was an absorbing first half.

Telford boss Sinton threw on Andy Brown as a second striker at half-time but fell two down just 19 seconds after the re-start as Morgan-Smith doubled his personal tally for the evening.

Luton were down to 10 men when Ed Asafu-Adjaye was sent off for two quick bookings picked up in the 65th and 66th minutes.

But the Bucks, despite a few late half-chances for substitute Craig Farrell, never looked like getting back into it.
