The Derby winger has been a big hit in his six months at the New Bucks Head but his loan spell comes to an end following the trip to Nuneaton on Monday, January 3.
Mills, who was expected to feature in the Blue Square Bet North clash at home to Redditch this afternoon, has been told by Rams boss Nigel Clough that he can stay on at Telford.
The Bucks are also keen to extend the loan but Mills, 20, is holding out to see if any Football League clubs will take a chance on his precocious skills.
"Derby would be willing to let him stay and it all comes down to what Greg wants to do," said Sinton.
"My advice to him would be that he's at a progressive club getting rave reviews most weeks and he's in the shop window.
"He could go back to Derby and play one game behind closed doors ever few weeks or he could play most weeks in a team going for promotion. It's up to him."
Meanwhile, chairman Lee Carter paid tribute to the efforts of the volunteers who worked throughout yesterday to get the New Bucks Head pitch in a playable condition.
"There were a couple of areas with pools of water which we had to work on this morning but 99.9 per cent of the pitch is definitely playable," said Carter.
"It's a top drawer effort from everyone involved. We've shifted 6,500 square metres of 3ins deep snow off the pitch as well as the car park.
"The volunteers have been tremendous and it's great credit to them that the game looks like going ahead."
