Bridgnorth's Cricket Meadow wicket and square has been covered all week .
But the pitch drains extremely well and officials are confident the three-day game will start as scheduled on Sunday.
Bridgnorth spokesman Alex Thomas said: "It took a lot of rain earlier in the week and the covers are on, but we're lucky in that we live in a sandstone area and it drains very well."
Shropshire are unchanged as they seek to continue their 100 per cent start.
