The midfielder departed Villa last summer - having helped them reach the Champions League.

His £42.5m switch to Serie A giants Juventus was said to have aided Aston Villa in their fight to avoid breaching PSR rules.

But his switch to Italy has not gone as planned.

Last season he started just six games for the Old Lady and his future has been the subject of speculation since January.

In the winter transfer window, he was linked with a sensational move to Man City, having played for the club earlier in his career.

But this summer it has been stated in Italy that he will leave the club.

Reports have claimed Luiz skipped a recent training camp - and the Italian side will now offload him.

And it could spark a return to the Premier League - with three sides all lining up with interest.

Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Everton have all been linked with Luiz - but in recent days a new suitor has been put into the frame.

According to other reports, Manchester United have shown a potential interest in Luiz.

It hasn't been stated how much Juventus would want for Luiz, or whether Villa have a sell on clause from their sale last summer.
