Wolves complete signing of Burkina Faso defender
Wolves have completed the signing of Burkina Faso international Nasser Djiga.
The 22-year-old has arrived in a €12million deal (around £10million) and joins from Serbian side Red Star Belgrade on a five-and-a-half year deal, with the option of extending that by a further 12 months.
Djiga has been a regular for Belgrade this season, playing 27 times in all competitions and in all eight of their Champions League group games.
Primarily playing as a right-sided centre-back, Djiga has impressed clubs across Europe since joining Belgrade initially on loan from Basel in 2023, before making a permanent switch last summer.
