The Aussie received 35 per cent of the votes and was handed the trophy at the club’s end of season awards night on Sunday, hosted by the Wolfpack Speedway Support Team.

Despite it being his first ever season in Britain’s top flight, Cook produced some key performances from the reserve berth and increased his average significantly.

Meanwhile, Leon Flint was named the Parrys International Wolves’ most improved rider for 2023, while Sam Masters won the Gary Peterson Award for most bonus points.
