Shropshire swimmer Freya Anderson misses out on BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year gong
Shropshire swimmer Freya Anderson has missed out on the BBC Young Personality of the Year award after making the top three.

The 17-year-old missed out on the award, given at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards at The SSE Arena in Wembley, to para-athlete Kare Adenegan.
Ellesmere Titans swimmer Anderson remained in with a shot alongside Adenegan and jockey James Bowen after the initial shortlist of 10 was whittled down to three.
The freestyle star shot to prominence in this year's European Championships where she claimed two gold and two bronze medals.
