Heath was selected after impressing while attending indoor winter training at the Regional Talent Development Centre based at Northamptonshire CCC.
He said: "I am extremely happy and proud to have been given this opportunity to represent an England team.
"From a young age I have always worked hard on all aspects of my game and attending the Regional Talent Centre has allowed me to really focus on specific areas of improvement and train with a real intensity."
"I would also like to thank the coaches and managers of the Shropshire squad who have spent so much time helping me to develop the different aspects of my game both in training and match scenarios."
Shropshire Cricket Development Officer Ed Ashlin said: "It is a fantastic achievement to be selected to represent your country and everyone at Cricket Shropshire is delighted for Eric.

"Eric's selection is also a credit to the work of our fantastic team of disability squad coaches and managers who support our players in a manner that allows them to fully express their potential."
The squad has been created so the ECB can increase the opportunities and extend the pathway for talented disability cricketers. It will allow the players to have access to a high performance environment which comes with representing your country.
Heath will receive quality coaching, analysis, advice around diet/nutrition and strength and conditioning support during his time at the camp.
He will play two T20 matches tomorrow against local county opposition in a bid to impress England LD selectors.
