The hosts were put into bat at Shrewsbury Cricket Club but were dismissed for just 130 inside 31 overs.
Former Worcestershire opener Richard Oliver top scored with 30 and there was some late resistance from Anthony Parker (27).
Herefordshire skipper Matt Pardoe was removed cheaply but an unbeaten 40 from D Ball saw the visitors comfortably home.
