Broseley's Domino effect on presentation
Broseley Domino League enjoyed a great night of celebration at their annual presentation evening.
The event, held at Broseley Social Club, not only toasted the success of this season's winners, but was also an opportunity to remember the life and legacy of league stalwarts John Hickman and Louis Glaze.
League winners: The Old Boys
Knockout winners: Lion B
Individual winner: Brian Hickman
Captain's Cup: Brian Hickman
Most wins: Bernard Watson (14 wins)
League chairman Alan Roe said: "In honour of the passing of John and Louis we invited members of their families to hand out this season's awards.
"John's sons, Brian and Lyndon, along with Louis's son and daughter-in-law, Wilf and Debbie, were there to present trophies.
"It's a really good league. We're about to hold our AGM but we're expecting it to continue the same next season.
"Our staff, captains and all supporters all have a great relationship and we do very well organising and making sure things run smoothly."
Both knockout and individual honours were awarded on the night, with The Old Boys retaining the league title.
