TRS Telford Tigers have signed Karl Creamer, Greg Blais and Paul Thomason as part of a revamp of the club's management structure.

Player-coach Tom Watkins will be joined by Creamer and Blais as assistant coaches next season, with Thomason taking on the role of team manager.

Watkins believes the new set-up will help his side further develop amid an ever-improving English Premier League.

He said: "Karl and Greg will be assisting on match days. Karl brings in a lot of experience from his time in Telford and he has a mature outlook.

"We are a young side and people need reminding of their roles during a game and Karl has the experience from his time in Flintshire to introduce a bit more discipline.

"Greg came to us last year as an unknown and it can't have been easy, coming from a goalkeeping background, but he dealt with it well."

Both Blais and Creamer will assist the Tigers boss during training next season, with Thomason handling off-ice affairs.

"Paul and Karl played for the Tigers a few years ago and know what it takes to succeed," Watkins added.

"It is a situation that will work well. Paul's role is very important and I know how much work there will be for him to do."

Watkins will now continue his team-building process ahead of next season, with discussions ongoing with a number of last season's squad, as well as players from elsewhere.
