Athletes at Wenlock Olympian Games

Hundreds of athletes were today in Much Wenlock, which is famous for its connection with the modern Olympics.

The 125th annual Wenlock Olympian Games began last Sunday with equestrian events in Broseley.

But from today four consecutive days of sporting events were taking place in Much Wenlock.

And tomorrow Wenlock Olympian Society will welcome Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport. On Sunday Olympian David Ottley is the VIP guest.
