Plans have been unveiled to open a new club shop at AFC Telford United.
The wooden portable building near to the Learning Centre at the New Bucks Head will be open from 4pm to 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday and all day on matchdays.
Chairman Lee Carter said the new facility would provide a much better service for supporters.
A statement on the planning application, submitted to Telford & Wrekin Council by Mr Carter, said no objections had been lodged or received by residents.
The report says: "The building is a wooden portable building structure with a flat roof.
"The club took delivery of the building, which used to be in situ at a local school.
"There is a planned programme of refurbishment of the building.
"The building will be used as a retail outlet selling club merchandise. The new building will significantly improve upon the current space available for club members and supporters to purchase merchandise and match day tickets.
"It is proposed that the unit will be open between 4pm and 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and all day on match days.
"There are currently one full-time and three volunteer staff that man the unit.
"The site has been chosen because of its improved access to car parking facilities and its better proximity to the main administrative office of AFC Telford United."
The club will kick off the new season in the Blue Square Bet North league on Saturday against Hyde, new manager Andy Sinton's first competitive match in charge.
A decision on the application will be made by the council's plans board later this year.
