Coach John Psaras is eager for AFC Telford United to put on a show in Saturday's free for all pre-season friendly at the New Bucks Head, writes CHRIS HUDSON.

Evo-Stik League side Prescot Cables are the visitors in a game where fans are being admitted free.

It will be the first opportunity for many supporters to get a look at boss Andy Sinton's new-look side - and Psaras knows an entertaining display could help the feel-good factor going into the new season.

"We're really looking forward to it," he said. "There will be a lot of people there and Prescot Cables will be a good test for us.

"It will be a bit of a cup final for them, playing against a Conference North side.

"There should be a lot of people there and they'll want to see how the squad is shaping up and how we play - let's hope we can give them a good performance."

Meanwhile, defender Cheyenne Dunkley - who played 45 minutes as a trialist for the Bucks in last week's 2-0 defeat at The New Saints - has signed a deal with Hednesford Town.

Sinton took a look at the former Crewe teenager against the Welsh Premier side but did not follow up his interest.

"Cheyenne wasn't at training on Tuesday," Psaras confirmed.

"I spoke to the gaffer to make sure he was aware, and he had already spoken to the lad.

"He told him that if there was a deal on the table with Hednesford, he should go for it."
