Cansdell-Sherriff was part of the Town squad which fell well short of expectations 12 months ago with a 12th place finish in League Two.

"The new gaffer seems a nice manager, he has a great reputation in the game and I really look forward to working with him," said Cansdell-Sherriff.
"It's an exciting time to be around the club and hopefully that positivity can help us along.
"There are big expectations and the club is trying to put the right people in place to make that happen.
