Chairman Lee Carter hopes the initiative will attract new fans to the club ahead of the start of the Blue Square Bet North season on August 14.
But there are also plenty of games against more glamorous opposition - with Wolves pencilled in for August 10.
League Two side Hereford United will visit the New Bucks Head on July 20, while a game against Dario Gradi's Crewe Alexandra is also in the pipeline.
The summer programme begins with a trip to Welsh champions The New Saints on Tuesday, July 6, and they could also play Market Drayton the following Saturday - though that is still to be confirmed.
They will play FC United of Manchester for the Supporters Direct Cup at the New Bucks Head on July 24.
Fans attending that one get two games for the price of one, with a clash between Chester FC and Scarborough for the Supporters Direct Shield serving as the warm-up.
"We're hoping to have the full pre-season programme finalised in the next day or two," Carter confirmed.
"There are some good games in there and we are particularly looking forward to the community day.
"We're opening the doors and letting anyone who wants to come in and watch us. It's all about encouraging as many people in as possible and hopefully gaining a few new fans."
