LETTER: Imperial units back in school

The reintroduction of imperial measures would mean them being taught once more in schools.

When I was at primary school we still had to learn them and to calculate with them.

Later, as a primary school teacher, I reckoned that their abandonment had advanced the children in their maths by about a year, allowing time for geometry and algebra.
