I’m no Tory but I defend Theresa May

I am not, or ever have been a Tory, but I would like to add to your columnist Peter Rhodes' view of the PM Teresa May. "She comes across has humourless and awkward, both physically and socially and never strikes me as a national leader!"

Theresa May

The speech episode disclosed how peevish, malicious, and offensive the British have become in such a short time and she was blamed for the cough, the dangerous fool with the P45 and bits dropping from the set even though she displayed the aptitude and courage to carry on with her speech.

I remind Peter that the Daily Telegraph's revelations a few years ago of the majority of our MPs filling their boots from the public purse via undeserved salaries, gold plated pensions, unwarranted expenses, subsidies and perks shocked the nation - an MP who was in the last 10 who claimed the least was Teresa May - she is certainly different from the majority in Westminster!
