Telford's Limekiln Bank roundabout reopens after months of work
A Tleford roundabout has reopened after months of roadworks.
The last stage of work at Limekiln Bank roundabout in Priorslee finished on Tuesday.
The final stage of closure had begun overnight on December 9, to allow for surfacing work.
Limekiln Bank island was one of six roundabouts that are being upgraded across the borough as part of the Telford Growth Point package.
It has been funded by a combination of Marches Local Enterprise Partnership funding and Section 106 contributions from developers.
It is to ensure that ensure the road network is capable of coping with anticipated increases in traffic as a result of new business and housing in the borough.
The work had been set to be completed in September but Telford & Wrekin Council said it was delayed by Severn Trent Water, who said they were determined to meet the new deadline.
