KTM is now offering a free ‘Touring Package’ for its 1290 Super Duke GT touring bike.

Available with every new GT, the package from the Australian motorcycle and sports car manufacturer includes additions designed to make travelling longer distances more comfortable. Features such as heated seats for rider and passenger plus a new luggage system should make the Super Duke GT even more capable at mile-munching.

Taking the title as the fastest V-twin sports touring bike in the world, the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT is available from £15,999.

As standard, the 1290 Super Duke comes with semi-active suspension that can be adjusted via a button mounted to the handlebars, as well as cruise control, LED cornering lights and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The 173bhp, 144Nm engine is also more than powerful enough to give the Super Duke impressive acceleration and throttle response – and it helps push the bike towards a top speed of 160mph. Heated grips are also included – a welcome relief to committed winter riders.

The new ‘Touring Package’ has been developed alongside the bike, ensuring that each addition fits and works as seamlessly as possible. All new KTM 1290 Super Duke GTs purchased from official dealers will now come with the package as a no-cost option.
