Swimming pool closes because of breakdown
Wellington's swimming pool has had to close after a breakdown.
The pool, run by Telford and Wrekin Leisure, apologised to swimmers for the closure on Friday.
A spokesman said: "Due to a breakdown within the swimming pool ventilation system at Wellington Leisure Centre we have had to take the decision to close the pool this evening. If you are booked into a swimming session tonight or early morning swim tomorrow our team will be in touch to inform you and to arrange a refund or transfer of your booking."
Staff said that the rest of the centre remains unaffected and open.
