Shropshire Fire and Rescue received a call reporting a trapped child in Watts Drive, Shifnal at around 8am on Thursday.

One crew was dispatched to the scene from Telford Central.

Upon arrival, crews found that a bedroom door had become stuck, with an adult on one side and a child on the other.

Crews worked quickly to release the door, with the stop message, which indicates the matter was under control, being received at 8.38am.
